The Greesons' retreat in Blowing Rock is designed to showcase their love of Biedermeier furniture and other unique pieces. Much of the artwork and furniture was collected on their travels in England. They also collect English Creamware and the modern pottery of North Carolina artists. The antique hanging fixtures and lamps are mixed with modern recessed and track lighting. The simple white space with seagrass rug, black accents and slipcovered furniture allows these pieces to be the focus of the open space plan.
